What We Do
In February 2004, the Arlington Academy of Hope opened a new school in the village of Bumwalukani. Our goal was to create a model primary school for Eastern Uganda that would set new learning standards and enable children to get an excellent education. Prior to AAH, families had no choice but to send their children to poor, overcrowded schools or keep them home to work the fields. AAH opens new possibilities for children and gives them and their families hope for a better future.
AAH is now a broad-based non-profit impacting tens of thousands annually with improved education, healthcare and economic development opportunities.
